REVISED PHARMA CONGRESS COVID HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Updated on August 29, 2022
Congress attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors who join us onsite can expect to connect, learn and do business in a safe environment. With this goal in mind, the Congress has established the following COVID Health and Safety Protocols:
- The Congress will follow applicable local city, state and national guidelines for masking and vaccination requirements. Based upon recent changes to CDC and other applicable guidelines, there are now no such requirements. We encourage individual attendees to assess their personal risk profile and preferences, and to act accordingly during the Congress. In addition, the Congress will take the following actions:
- If you have any COVID symptoms or if you have tested positive in the 48 hours prior to the Congress on either a rapid or PCR test, we ask that you do not attend the Congress in person. In that case you can let us know and we will grant you access to the Congress virtual video broadcast.
- While masks may not be required at the Congress, we support your choice to wear a mask if you prefer.
- Masks will be available at the Congress registration desk if you would like to wear one as a precaution.
- Sanitizer stations and additional masks will be available in clearly marked areas.
- In accordance with any applicable government guidance and local mandates, the Congress will follow applicable standards for crowd density, social distancing, and face mask or covering restrictions.
- Social Distancing Signage will be provided in areas that could lead to close contact.
- High touch areas will have increased cleaning, including bathrooms, handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, and countertops.
- The Congress will provide attendees the opportunity to display their comfort level with social interaction by providing at the registration desk optional color-coded bands: green (open to all social interactions); yellow (fist bumps okay); red (prefers social distancing).
- This Congress COVID Policy is subject to change as required by revised government guidance and local mandates and to reflect the course of the pandemic.
- If you have any COVID symptoms or if you have tested positive in the 48 hours prior to the Congress on either a rapid or PCR test, we ask that you do not attend the Congress in person. In that case you can let us know and we will grant you access to the Congress virtual video broadcast.
